The film is set in a world where witches have been eradicated, but they are about to make a comeback. The protagonist, Kael (Vin Diesel), is the last of his kind - a witch hunter. Kael's quest for revenge against the witches who killed his family drives the plot. Along the way, he teams up with an unlikely ally, a witch named Isilda (Louise Bourgoin).
