The movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi tells the story of Surinder Sahai (played by Shah Rukh Khan), a 40-year-old man who is unhappy with his life. He is a bank clerk in London and feels trapped in his mundane routine. One day, he meets a beautiful young woman named Taani (played by Katrina Kaif) at a park. Taani is a free-spirited and cheerful person who is on a mission to fulfill her late grandfather's wish of marrying 10 couples. Surinder and Taani get married as part of this mission, but their marriage turns into a real one as they start to fall in love.
