The plot follows Banner's journey as he tries to cure himself of the Hulk, while also stopping the Abomination from wreaking havoc on the world. Along the way, he reunites with Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), his love interest, and confronts his nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross (William Hurt).
